"I have been able to attain a First Class degree and all this was possible because of what Sandra Fernando and other IT Tutors taught me – I really do appreciate their teaching and support. Thanks and keep doing the good work!"

Gaining a degree is always a fantastic achievement, but a First Class degree is something that few students accomplish.

Chernoh Wuriee has done just this – passing his Honours degree in Business Information Technology with a First Class – and puts his success down to the great teaching and support he got from his tutors at Lewisham Southwark College. He studied for a two year Higher Education course at the College in 2016-17 before transferring to the University of Greenwich for a one year ‘top-up’ BSc Honours degree.

“I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this if it wasn’t for my tutors,” he says.

Lewisham Southwark College offers Higher Education courses in a fascinating range of subjects. You can study for an HNC, HND, Foundation degree or Honours degree, and also have the option of topping up a shorter Higher Education qualification to a full degree at one of our partner universities.
