    Entry Requirements

    You will need: - Evidence of previous creative work in any of the following: visual art drawing painting printmaking. All at an appropriate level - 4 GCSEs at Grade 2-3

    Assessment Method

    You will be continuously assessment via the following: - practical work - project completion - online portfolio submission - presentations - written research projects - group work

    Aims of the course

    This course has been designed to introduce you to a range of creative study in painting and drawing graphic design illustration sculpture and print making. You can also complete GCSE qualifications in English and maths. This course aims to help you gain the all-round skills needed to progress to Levell 3 study in fine art and creative media or fashion retail study.

    Upon successful completion you could choose to progress onto a UAL Level 3 Diploma at Southwark College in the following: - Art & design - Fashion - Creative media

    Facilities

    This course is delivered through a mixture of lessons workshops and projects. Learning takes place in classrooms studios off-site in trips to creative venues and in projects with external partners.

    Career Options

    The primary purpose of this diploma is to aid you to progress to further learning.
