    Entry Requirements

    Age 19+ learners will need to have GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above or equivalent qualifications. IELTS tests can be taken before the course starts at the college if students do not have English GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications.

    Assessment Method

    Assessments are aligned to those at university with a mixture of examination assessment projects portfolios and presentations.

    Aims of the course

    To provide students with a thorough grounding in computer science maths and study skills to allow for progression to prestigious universities to study computer science related degrees.

    Progression Opportunities

    You could choose to progress into University or Degree Apprenticeships. Students can also progress into employment and develop a career in a rapidly growing digital skills software programming or coding sector.

    Learning will take place in the: - Seminar and lecture rooms - Library (extensive online resources) - Access and HE Hub . We have a wide range of modern computer labs where you will learn a range of skills and we have computers in break out areas for your independent learning.

Coronavirus update
