Students will work towards achieving an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Sciences. The programme is equivalent to 3 A-levels Students will study Biology Chemistry Physics Maths and Research based units. This allows for progression onto a wide range of science and allied health and medical professions in the future.

Entry Requirements
Age 19+ learners will need to have GCSE English Maths and Science at grade C/4 or above or equivalent qualifications. IELTS tests can be taken before the course starts at the college if students do not have English GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications.
Assessment Method
A mixture of practical lab experiments assignments examinations and presentations. This is aligned to assessment methods at university to ensure learners are prepared for the transition.
Aims of the course
Learners will be prepared for the demands of a BSc degree in science or health.The intensive nature of the course and the inclusion of level 3 maths is appreciated by universities in preparing students for higher level study within the sciences.
